The discovery of the ancient wooden cross on which Jesus was crucified leads Virginia Ferguson to answers about her own tragic past, proves the existence of Vampires and brings her face to face with the greatest evil the world has ever known.

Virginia Ferguson, 8, is accompanying her parents on an archeological dig in the hills outside Jerusalem when she accidently uncovers a secret cave that leads to the discovery of two ancient wooden beams. Neither her nor her parents have any idea that exposure of these wooden beams to the air outside the cave is enough to beckon a monster whose 2000 year old purpose has been to destroy them. The following evening she witnesses a horrific looking creature, the Master Vampire, and his minion of vampires, as they swarm into the family camp and kill her parents. An earthquake causes the cave’s entrance to cave-in and she is whisked away by Gabriel, who is a member of a secret monastery whose mission is to find the one true cross and use it to stop the carnage of this ancient Beast and his followers.

Gabriel takes Virginia from the hills outside Israel to a hidden monastery high in the Himalayas. In spite of her insistent inquiries, the monks refuse to tell her by whom or for what reason her parents were killed. After many years of living with and being educated by the monks she reaches adulthood and is allowed to leave the monastery with a promise to never mention its existence to anyone.

Virginia enters society, finds a job at a University, marries and becomes pregnant. But motherhood is not in the cards for her as her husband and her fetus are killed in an automobile accident. The resulting trauma brings forth an uncontrollable desire to find out who or what killed her parents so many years ago.

Virginia returns to Jerusalem where she finds the ancient wooden cross she discovered as a child.

Virginia brings it back to the University and carbon dates the wood, which is 2000 years old. The dark stains on its surface are blood cells, which, when added to water, return to life. Several days later Gabriel visits her at the University. He wants her to give him the cross. She has no idea the danger she’s in. She refuses but later that very night he returns to the University and steals it. When she tracks Gabriel down and attempts to retrieve the cross the Master Vampire and his demonic minion arrive to take it from both of them. In the ensuing battle Gabriel is stunned by what he sees. Virginia has some sort of power over the Master Vampire. If not for her, the cross would have definitely fallen into his hands. Witnessing this is enough for Gabriel to bring her back to the monastery with him.

On the flight back to the Himalayan monastery Gabriel tells Virginia the story of the FIRST RISING from the dead. She is surprised to learn that it wasn't Jesus. At the Last Supper Jesus ordered his disciples to drink wine as if it was his blood. Judas took him literally.

After Jesus died on the cross his body was cleaned off and taken away for burial. Judas snuck into the chambers, squeezed the blood from the rags used to wipe off his body into a cup and drank it down.

Now with the blood of Jesus running through his veins, Judas, like Jesus, can never die. After attempting to hang himself from a tree Judas snapped back to life and discovered that he had an insatiable appetite for human blood. The cross was buried in a cave and the entrance covered over before the cave’s inhabitants, a million bats, could return the following morning.

Virginia, Gabriel and the cross arrive at the monastery and she is shown to a secret room deep inside the mountain that holds all the artifacts surrounding Jesus' death. The cross is the last piece. It is also the only thing on earth that can stop Judas and his followers. Knowing Judas is coming for the cross the monks prepare for battle. Gabriel tells Virginia that she has an unexplained power over Judas.

Judas and his minion arrive at the monastery and a monumental battle between the vampires and the monks ensues. Gabriel and Virginia eventually outwit Judas and, with Virginia’s help, end up nailing Judas to the very cross Jesus was nailed to. Tucked away deep into the caverns of the monastery is where Judas will remain, forever, or until someone takes him down.

Once back home Virginia is shocked to discover that the blood of Jesus that was on the cross is now beating through her own body. She was unknowingly impregnated with an egg that was injected with the DNA from the blood that was found on the Sacred Cross. She is carrying THE BABY JESUS in her womb. This was the reason Judas was afraid of her. This was the hidden power she had over him. What will she do now?
