THE POSSE

Written & Created by Peter Liapis

NOTE: The Posse can be separated into three different markets: country, hip hop, or rock and roll.

THE CONTESTANTS: Advertise on a U-Tube across America that "The Posse" TV Reality Show is looking for song writers, musicians and vocalists for a new TV reality show. Contestants must submit a picture of themselves, a sample of their playing and a sample of songs they have written. All contestants must be between 18 and 27 years old.

THE SELCTION PROCESS: Among the submissions the public will vote on who the top five vocalists, five guitarists, five bassists, five drummers and five keyboardists.

THE SHOW FORMAT: From these 25 contestants we put together five separate five piece bands. Each band will live together in THEIR OWN SEPARATE place. Their girlfriends can stay with them. Each of the five bands will write a new song, or choose one they have in their personal song books, and spend the rest of the week rehearsing the song. We are sure so see sparks fly on choosing whose song they will play, who's flirting whose girlfriend and who can really play and who can't. There will be allegiances and alliances formed each week that we will be sure to split up for the following week's show. At the end of the first week each band will perform their song for our panel of music experts and /or the public who will choose that week’s winning song. We start the second week by switching around all the contestants so that most of them will have to pick up stakes, girlfriends and all, and move in with a new set of bands members. This too can be decided by either our panel or votes from the public. The new bands will go through the same process of picking an original song, practicing it throughout the week and finally playing it for our panel which will choose our second winning song. From here on the expert panel or the voting public will move each of the contestants around to form the following week's new band. At the end of 12 weeks the panel and the public will have heard multiple combinations of band members play together. THE FINALE: At the end of the 12th week our expert panel and/or the public will vote on their favorite combination of players to form the final five bands. The bands will choose two or three songs from the previous 12 weeks to perform at the show’s finale which will be a live performance at the House of Blues. THE PRIZE: At this event either the panel or the public chooses the wining band which will receive $100,000 and be signed to a recording contract. If they are good enough, the songs for their first album will be chosen from the 12 winning songs from the show. Contestants who participated in writing the songs that end up on the album will receive a publishing deal. The producers will have each individual player signed to a reasonable management contract as well as all combinations of the
